Party President Sonia Gandhi has met several disgruntled leaders after the Congress Working Committee meeting convened to look into the reasons for the defeat in the Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Manipur assembly elections. According to a senior party leader, the Congress President has met some leaders. She will also meet other disgruntled leaders soon.
The party leader said that senior Maharashtra Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan was also given time. But due to some busy schedule, they could not meet.
