To rectify the drinking water system, the technical officers and employees of the corporation have been engaged. Who will monitor all the wards of the city in all three shifts. In case of drinking water problem in any ward, technical officers and staff will reach the spot and solve the problem. At present, three tanks have been prepared under AMRUT Mission. The supply of pageal has also started from here. Apart from this, the corporation administration has started an exercise to supply drinking water through tanks in other wards both in the morning and evening.
Inspection will be done in all three shifts: By handing over the responsibility to the technical officers and employees of the Municipal Corporation, the administration has instructed them to inspect in all three shifts. So that there is no problem of water in any ward. Apart from this, it has also been asked to monitor the water coming from Mongra Barrage and Matia Moti Reservoir for summer, so that the water coming through the raw canal-drain cannot be stolen. For summer, the corporation has taken one thousand MCFTs from Mogra barrage and three hundred MCFTs of raw water from Matia Moti reservoir. Pranay Meshram, assistant engineer in-charge of the corporation, has been made the nodal officer to rectify the drinking water system. On the other hand, Deputy Engineers Dilip Markam and Animesh Chandrakar have been made Assistant Nodal Officers.

Sufficient drinking water is being supplied in the wards from the water tank of Shankarpur and Civil Line of the city. Due to this, the corporation administration has stopped the additional drinking water supply in the afternoon. From these two tanks, Mamta Nagar, Poonam Colony, Labor Colony, Tulsipur, Civil Line, Lalbagh, Bakhtawar Chal, Sadhu Chal, Kalintar Chal, Shere Punjab Gali, Ramnagar, Motipur, Ganpati Nagar and Chandan Nagar areas of the city were also spared in the afternoon. Water was being supplied. But due to the construction of the tank and the expansion of the pipeline under the Amrit Mission scheme, sufficient quantity of drinking water is being available in the area only in the morning and evening. Water is not being wasted as the afternoon supply is cut off. The administration claims that all these wards have become tanker free.
