Jaipur. In another step towards re-introducing the Old Pension Scheme (OPS), Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced to eliminate 10 per cent deduction from the basic salary of state government employees from April 1. The Chief Minister said that under the New Pension Scheme (NPS), 10 percent of the basic salary of the recruited employees was deducted every month from January 2004, which would be abolished from the next month.
