New Delhi. Japan car maker Suzuki is all set to introduce the new-generation model of its famous car Swift globally soon. The company has also recently recently announced the launch of the new-generation Alto (Alto) for the Indian market. Now according to a recent report, the company is preparing to introduce the new-generation model of Swift in the global market by mid 2022. Along with this, the company is also working on Swift Sport, which can be introduced in the global market by 2023.
Will be based on modified platform
According to the report, the new-generation Swift will be based on a modified version of the company’s HEARTECT platform. The company’s existing Swift is also based on the HEARTECT platform, but this platform will be modified to some extent for the new model.

According to the report, the new-generation Swift will be better than the previous model. Also it will be more secure. The new-generation Swift will be introduced in the market with a new and evolutionary design. The company is busy preparing to give a new and improved look to the base profile. The company will also use LED DRL headlamps and new multi-spoke alloy wheels with blacked-out grille in the new model. According to the report, the new model will use a stronger beltline, which will help in merging the wrap-around tail-lights.
According to the report, the model that will be introduced for India will also have the same design and features as the global model. Along with this, the company will also use the new interior in its new-generation Swift.

According to the report, the new-gen Swift will get a newly refined version of the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine with a hybrid system. It is likely to get a robust hybrid system, which should improve overall fuel efficiency. The model for India will also get the option of a 1.2-litre dual-jet petrol engine. With this, the car will also prove to be good in terms of fuel-efficiency.
