SJVN Share News: SJVN Green Energy, a subsidiary of state-owned power generation company SJVN, has acquired solar projects with a capacity of 1,352 MW. There will be an investment of Rs 7,436 crore in this. SJVN has received project allotment letters to develop projects with a capacity of 1,352 MW, the company said in a statement. These projects will be developed by SJVN Green Energy Ltd.

SJVN Chairman and Managing Director Geeta Kapoor said projects with a capacity of 1,352 MW will be developed in Maharashtra’s Nashik, Solapur, Ahmednagar and Pune under Mukhyamantri Solar Krishi Vahini Yojana 2, news agency PTI reported. SJVN Green Energy Ltd. has been awarded the projects through competitive bidding process in the tender of MSEB Agro Power Limited, Maharashtra. The total investment on development of these solar power projects will be approximately Rs 7,436 crore.
Money increased 2.5 times in one year
SJVN is one of the few stocks that has grown investors’ money 2.5 times in the last one year. In the last one year, the stock has given a return of 264 percent to investors. The stock has given a negative return of 89 percent in the last six months and 19 percent in the last one month. In the financial year 2022-23, the company had an income of Rs 2,938 crore and during this period the company had made a profit of Rs 1,359 crore. Talking about the December quarter, the company had registered an income of Rs 543 crore during this period and from October to December the company had made a profit of Rs 139 crore.
