We all know that electric vehicles are gaining popularity all over the world. In India also people are getting attracted towards these vehicles. We have told you about many such start-up companies, which have launched many EVs. When it comes to electric cars, we have Tata, MG and Hyundai. However, we are seeing more action in the two-wheeler segment these days.
Currently, there are many new entrants in this segment like Ather, TVS, Okinawa along with Hero and Ola. At the same time, recently many start-ups have also come up in the country, which are working on electric vehicles. One such start-up is Mazout Electric, who have developed an electric cruiser motorcycle that aims to offer a riding range of 300-350 kms.
Cruiser Motorcycle Equipped Design
The video that surfaced on the Internet has been uploaded on a YouTube channel. This electric cruiser motorcycle is actually designed by a group of engineering students from Delhi Technical University. In this video a member of the team explains about the technical and hardware of the motorcycle. The motorcycle seen in the video is actually his second prototype, and he is currently working on the software part of the motorcycle.

Looking at the design of the motorcycle, it can be guessed that it is inspired by a cruiser motorcycle. The team has worked extensively to find the proper or comfortable riding position for the rider and pillar. The team is currently working on installing a 25kWh battery pack in the motorcycle, which will offer a longer riding range. If they manage to adjust that battery pack to the motorcycle, the motorcycle will be able to deliver a range of 300 to 350 kms on a single charge.
Price will be around Rs 3 lakh
As mentioned in the video, the hardware part of the motorcycle is almost ready and they are currently working on the software part. The motorcycle supports AC and DC fast charging. Its battery can be fully charged in 6 hours, while it takes about 3 hours to charge the battery to 50 percent.

The top-speed of the bike is 120 kmph which is quite good in comparison to many other products in this segment. In the video, the team member can be heard saying that since the motorcycle will get a custom made battery pack of long range . Due to which its price will be between Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh.
