new Delhi. Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress Party (TMC) government is on all-round target in the Birbhum violence case of West Bengal. On the other hand, TMC is calling it a conspiracy.
TMC MP Dola Sen said in an exclusive conversation with -AnyTV News, “Law and order is the best in Bengal under Mamata Banerjee. Mamata di is such a leader who does not compromise on law and order. On behalf of BJP and CPIM, we are (TMC) does not need advice.”
Question- BJP is making serious allegations against TMC leaders in Birbhum case, that TMC leaders have no regrets on this tragic incident?
Answer- The way Roopa Ganguly cried in the Lok Sabha referring to the Birbhum violence, is it called grief. We do not believe, we celebrate her acting as Roopa. All the steps that should have been taken were taken by the TMC government in the state but at least like the BJP leaders, they are not doing politics in this matter by giving false sorrow and false tears and acting. Look, Roopa ji shed as much tears but it has become clear in the investigation that no politics was done by the state government in the Birbhum case. Now her Rajya Sabha term is nearing completion, so she is trying to impress BJP with a new acting.
Question- The way the law and order of the government is in West Bengal, questions are being raised continuously, it is also being said that the state is now dominated by goonda raj?
Answer- The governor is working against the constitutional system. At present, the state government has informed the Home Minister about the swift steps taken by the West Bengal government regarding the Birbhum violence. CM Mamta handled the law and order in the state very well, but with some incidents it is wrong to question the functioning of the entire administration and the government. ‘Law and order in Bengal is at its best under Mamata Banerjee.
Question- On Birbhum violence, BJP and Congress leaders have demanded from the central government to impose President’s rule in the state against this whole incident! There are mass murders taking place. People are fleeing. The state is no longer fit to live in?
Answer- If BJP asks this question, then we will say that the opposition should tell that BJP is in power in Gujarat, what happened there, we do not need anyone to tell. Genocide happened in Godhra. I myself went to Godhra and took stock of the situation there. Has the BJP government ever taken any action in their states in the manner in which it is being done by Mamata Banerjee? There is no need for TMC to take any advice from PM Modi’s BJP. Everyone knows the kind of incidents that happened in Uttar Pradesh. The farmers were crushed to death while protesting against the agricultural laws. Incidents of others happened with other children in Uttar Pradesh, what action was taken in the matter. TMC leaders also went there and met the victim’s family. We also know the CPM who carried out the genocide in Bengal. However, what happened in Birbhum’s Rampurhat got worse. This should not have happened.
Question- What are the demands raised from your side in the second phase of the budget session of Parliament and now which demand will be raised from your side in the coming days.
Answer- Last time in this session we raised the issue of any laws, raised the issue of increased prices of diesel and petrol. Now in the next few days, I am going to raise this issue of the public in Rajya Sabha on the issue of labor and employment. I have got time to speak for about 12 minutes. There are many problems of unemployment and laborers, which the central government should solve, but only caste and religion politics is happening in the country, the central government has no eye on development works.
