New Delhi. All political parties are gearing up before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. At present, the process of discussion regarding seat sharing has started among the parties included in the Indian alliance, but till now the leaders of the alliance have not reached any conclusion as to who will contest on how many seats. Meanwhile, Congress has put a big condition before Mamata Banerjee. On the other hand, Congress said on the condition of Mamata that it is not ready for this. She wants to contest elections on at least 8 to 10 seats, keeping in mind that it is believed that disputes may arise between the two parties in the coming days.
On the other hand, in this context, a senior TMC leader said, ‘Congress has been offered two seats by the party keeping in mind the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. He said that in the last Lok Sabha elections, Congress had got only 5 percent votes out of 42 seats in the state.
Let us tell you that in the 2021 assembly elections, Congress got 2.93 percent votes, whereas in 2016 the party got 12.25 percent votes, keeping this in mind, the said seats were offered to Congress.
