Betul / Bhainsdehi. Three people died and 27 were injured in two road accidents in the district on Sunday night. In Bhainsdehi area, a truck full of devotees coming to visit Shivdham Guptawada overturned near village Majrwani. One old man died and 27 were injured in the accident. Of these, seven have suffered serious injuries. An unknown vehicle hit the bike near the fan of Saikheda police station area. Two youths died in the accident. Bhaisdehi police station in-charge Tarunnum Khan said that the truck MP 68 G0463 coming towards Shivdham Guptwada overturned uncontrollably in roundabout near village Majrwani at around 2 pm on Sunday night. In which 45-year-old Mangilal died. With the help of 108 ambulances, the injured were immediately brought to the government hospital in Bhainsdehi and treated.
Two killed in collision with unknown vehicle
On Sunday night, two bike riders died due to an unidentified vehicle collision on the Betul-Nagpur fourlane. The accident happened between Panka and Sasundara. According to the information received from the Saikheda police, an unknown vehicle hit the bike last night. Gajajan’s father Nathu Harle (60) resident of Warud district Amravati and Santu Prasad’s father Bibkaranjan Rao (43) resident of Vivekananda Place VTC Barasat Peragan died in the accident. Police has started investigation against the unknown driver.
70 teak splints recovered in search of two houses
Betul. On the basis of the information of the informer in village Nanda of Chicholi forest area falling in the West Forest Division of the district, two houses were searched by the Forest Department, Chicholi. In which 70 pieces of teak charpat including illegal cast-making tools, electric-operated planer, electric-operated cutter machine, and electric motor, hand-operated saw and other tools were confiscated. According to the information received, a search warrant was issued by Deputy Forest Divisional Officer Gaurav Mishra under the direction of Forest Divisional Officer Preeta SM on receiving information from the informer. After this, the team of forest range Chicholi raided the house of Bastiram Yadav and Hemraj Yadav located in village Nanda. Illegal forest produce and tools were confiscated during this period. Action has been taken against the accused by registering forest offenses under Madhya Pradesh Forest Produce Trade Regulation Act 1969, Madhya Pradesh Forest Produce Trade Caste Rules 1973, Cast Chiran Act 1984.
