The statue of self Heera Singh Markam, the founder of Gondwana Gantantra Party established in village Gursian Bazar, was vandalized by unknown miscreants on the night of 17-18 February. As soon as the information was received, the Gongpa workers were united. After coming back from there, Arun and Shivam went to Gursiyan market place and drank alcohol. Both of them got very intoxicated and came under the influence of intoxication, broke the statue of Self Dada Hira Singh Markam located in the market and came back to his house. The police claim that after contacting the informers, interrogating the suspects, investigating the activity on the spot on the date of the incident and technical analysis by the team of cyber cell, collecting evidence about the accused and arrested them. Police sent both to judicial remand.
Workers are dissatisfied with police action: Tuleshwar
Gongpa national president Tuleshwar Singh Markam told that this action of the police is not satisfactory and the workers are not satisfied. The police are not catching the right accused under political pressure by covering up the matter. The master mind behind the scenes is someone else. Why did the accused of excessive alcohol intoxication appear only to break the idol of Dada, which was mounted above and surrounded by grill. If the intoxication was more, then the accused could have fallen anywhere. Party workers have started preparing to hold a public outcry meeting.
