Eastern Bridge-VI exercise successfully concluded
The India-Oman Eastern Bridge-VI (2022) was successfully completed at the Jodhpur Air Force Station. This air exercise lasted from February 21 to 25, 2022. The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) took part in the exercise along with the Indian Air Force.
The aim of the exercise was to exchange operational familiarity and best practices to enhance operational capabilities between the air forces of the two countries, the Defense Ministry said on Saturday. Senior officers from both sides who visited the Indian Air Force Station at Jodhpur during the exercise included Director of Operations of RAFO and Senior Air Staff Officer of Western Air Command of Indian Air Force.
These officers discussed the possibilities of taking forward mutual cooperation. The exercise provided an opportunity for effective exchanges between the Indian Air Force and the Royal Air Force of Oman. In addition, both sides shared their respective experiences and operational knowledge. The exercise also opened the way for cultural exchange between the airmen of both the countries.
