After the group stage of Under-19 World Cup, India and Pakistan teams are part of Group-1 for the Super 6 round. The Indian team was in Group A during the group stage. Whereas, Pakistan team is in Group D. Both the teams remained on top in their group. The top-3 teams of each group entered for the Super Six round. In this way, the teams of Group A and Group D got a place in Group-1 of Super Six. Whereas, the teams of Group B and Group C became part of Group-2 in Super Six.

According to the rules of the tournament, the teams that topped the group level will not face each other in the Super Six round. Both India and Pakistan remained first in their group. For this reason both will not clash with each other in the Super Six round. Apart from this, no team will face the team of its group in the Super Six round. In this way, only two teams are left in the group, against which any team will compete. Like India will play the second and third placed teams of D Group. That means it will face New Zealand and Nepal. Pakistan stood first in D Group. It will compete with Ireland and Bangladesh, the second and third placed teams in Group A.
When will India and Pakistan face each other?
Even though there will be no competition between India and Pakistan in Super Six. But both the teams can clash with each other in the knockout round. The picture of the semi-finals is not clear in the official website of ICC. There is a possibility that the top team of Group 1 will face the second placed team of Group 2 in the semi-finals. In such a situation, the match between India and Pakistan does not seem to happen before the final.
