Amethi. 6 people lost their lives and 4 were injured in a major road accident in UP’s Amethi late on Sunday night. The accident happened when a Bolero car collided with the truck. There was an outcry after the accident. Neighbors rushed to the spot and helped the police in sending the injured to the hospital. The four injured were first admitted to the district hospital in Gauriganj. Seeing the deteriorating condition, everyone had to be referred to the Trauma Center in Lucknow. According to the police, the Bolero riders were returning from Nasirabad area of Rae Bareli after joining the procession. UP CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep grief over this accident. Instructing the officers of the district administration to extend all possible help to the victim’s family, he has also asked them to make proper medical arrangements for the injured.
Police say that the speed of the Bolero was fast. Bolero collided with a truck coming from the front near Babuganj Sagra Ashram. After which there was uproar. How fast the Bolero was going, it is known from this that the car got blown up in the collision. It took a lot of effort to get the injured and dead bodies out of the vehicle. A river of blood was flowing in and out of the car.
All the people who lost their lives in this accident have been identified. These are Kallu of Gudre village of Amethi, 8-year-old son Saurabh of Kallu, Krishna Kumar Singh of Shahgarh, Shivmilan of Newdhiya, Ravi Tiwari of Veer Rampur of Shahgarh and Triveni Prasad of Pachehari village of Gauriganj. Among the injured are Mukesh of Pachehri, Anuj and Anil of Ganesi village and Lavkush of Munsiganj.
