Home Minister Amit Shah said that decisions have been taken on issues like Ram temple, Article 370, CAA and triple talaq. Now the number is of Uniform Civil Code. Along with this, Amit Shah also told that the Uniform Civil Code is being implemented in Uttarakhand as a pilot project. Draft is being prepared. Whatever is left, everything will be fine.
Know, what is Uniform Civil Code-
There is a provision in the Uniform Civil Code that people of all religions have to comply with the same law. After the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code, the rules of any particular religion will not be given priority. All will be bound to abide by the rules made by the government. For example, Shariat will not be given much preference in the Muslim religion. People of all religions will be bound to follow one law in marriage, divorce and division of property.
