UP Assembly Elections 2022 This time in the hot electoral fizz, the peace of Dalit voters has increased the desperation of political parties. Dalits make up 20 percent of the population. This is the population that can make anyone taste power when in the mood. The BSP continued to occupy power with the help of these Dalits and this society made Mayawati the Chief Minister of the state four times. But this time in the 2022 assembly elections, the silence of this Dalit voter is visible beyond the comprehension of political parties. But the candidates and political parties are working hard to get the votes of the Dalits. Where BJP and RSS are working hard to cater to the Dalit vote bank of the state. On the other hand, other parties SP and Congress are also busy in persuading the Dalits. Where BJP is taking the election as a challenge to save its power. On the other hand, the Congress, the alliance and the BSP ruling party are trying their best to oust the BJP from power.
Where the veteran star campaigners of BJP have completely churned each district in the first phase of election public relations campaign. Apart from this, PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath have also left no stone unturned to make the election in favor of BJP by doing public relations. BSP’s Mayawati is now out on the election campaign, while Congress’s Priyanka Gandhi is single-handedly taking charge of the entire election campaign. Despite all this, all eyes are on Dalit voters. This time a deep churning is going on in the think tank of the downtrodden class. The largest number of Dalits in Western UP is from communities like Jatav, Khatik, Valmiki, Pasi. But among these, Jatav occupies the highest number of voters i.e. 50 percent.

BJP’s Dalit leader Charan Singh Lisadi says that today Dalits have come to know the value of their votes. That’s why he no longer votes in one place. Where he sees the benefit of himself and the society, the Dalit community votes. Dalit thinker Satish Kumar says that there has always been politics about Dalits. Political parties have been making this society a pawn for their benefit. Now along with the issue, safety and respect are also on priority. In such a situation, it is not necessary that Dalits should vote in one place.
