UP Assembly Elections 2022 The election process is currently going on in five states of the country. The opposition is leaving no stone unturned to corner the BJP government. In the first phase of elections, now the SP RLD alliance and the Congress are trying to surround the BJP government on the increasing price of LPG cylinders and petrol diesel. Overall, inflation remains an issue. By making an issue of LPG cylinder with him, the opposition is trying to keep a hand on the aching veins of women. The first phase of polling in Western UP is to be held on February 10. Voting for 58 seats is to be held on February 10. From this very first phase, SP and Congress have been attacking the state government over LPG prices. Please tell that there are BJP governments in the state and at the center. Despite the BJP being in power in both the places, the government has no control over the rising prices of LPG cylinders. Rising LPG prices are affecting the pockets of the common people. Due to this the problems of domestic women have increased significantly. Keep in mind that LPG prices are determined on the 1st of every month.
Looking at both the terms of the Modi government at the Centre, the non-subsidised LPG cylinder was cheaper by Rs 382 in January 2014. After that it had reached Rs 929 in May 2014 itself. After that, talking about today i.e. January 2022, the price of LPG cylinder is Rs 899. Even though today the price of LPG cylinder may be less as compared to the Manmohan Singh government of Congress. But this cylinder is getting very expensive for those consumers who take gas cylinders from subsidy. In 2014, the price of a gas cylinder without subsidy was Rs 905. At the same time, the price of subsidized cylinder was Rs 414.

On the other hand, if we talk about LPG cylinders in UP, the price of LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 167 in the last five years. That is, the price has increased so much. In 2017, the price of non-subsidized LPG cylinder was Rs 776, which has increased to Rs 939 today. Now there is no difference between subsidized and non subsidized LPG cylinders. The prices of both have become equal. For this reason, the opposition in the state has surrounded the Yogi government on the increase in the prices of LPG cylinders. The team of SP Women’s Wing is going door-to-door to remind women of the increased prices of LPG and to heal their wounds. At the same time, Congress is also already an attacker in this matter.
