New Delhi. The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has started a special scheme to put an end to the problems of stray animals. Stray animals will be provided shelter under this scheme. Apart from this, a target has been set to construct at least 50 big cowsheds in the coming days. In which shelter will be provided to stray animals. At present, a target has been set to provide shelter to 50,000 stray cattle within 100 days. In the coming days, it can be increased to 1 lakh by increasing the scope of this target. However, a target has been set to provide shelter to 10 stray animals by April 15, which has been brought to life.
Through these stray animals, the state government will also make biogas in the coming days and a plan has also been made to make CNG gas. The state government has prepared a complete roadmap in this direction. According to state government sources, the government will buy cow dung under the PPP model and it will be used to make fuels elsewhere, including CNG. At the same time, 65 hectares of land has been identified by the government to provide fodder to cattle. The Urban Panchayat Department will also be involved in this work.
Keep in mind that even before this, the Yogi government has expressed concern over the plight of stray animals.
