UP Election 2022 Phase 4 Voting: Voting has started in 59 assembly constituencies of nine districts for the formation of the 18th assembly in Uttar Pradesh. The polling parties first tested the EVMs with mock polling to start the voting process. In the fourth phase, 624 candidates, including four ministers, are in the fray. In 2017, 51 of the 59 seats in nine districts were with the BJP alliance. Four were won by Samajwadi Party and two each by BSP and Congress candidates.

During the eight-hour polling in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election 2022, 49.89 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 3 pm in 59 assembly constituencies. Even after eight hours, Pilibhit continues to lead with the highest voting percentage. Lakhimpur Kheri district is in second place. Voters of Hardoi, Sitapur, Lucknow and Unnao are still depressed. Till 3 pm in Pilibhit 54.88, Lakhimpur Kheri 52.29, Sitapur 50.33, Hardoi 46.29, Unnao 47.29, Lucknow 47.69, Rae Bareli 50.84, Banda 50.08 and Fatehpur 52.60 percent polling.
