Today Deoria, Basti, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Ambedkar Nagar and Ballia are included. According to the information received from the Election Commission, in the sixth phase, a total of 676 candidates, including 66 women, have tried their luck in the electoral fray.

Apart from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the fate of many ministers of the Yogi government is at stake in the sixth phase of elections. The fate of 676 candidates, including Jai Pratap Singh, who was the Health Minister in the state government and Swami Prasad Maurya, the former Labor Minister of the state, is at stake. Swami Prasad Maurya has joined the Samajwadi Party before the elections.

In the last assembly elections, 46 of these 57 seats in the sixth phase were won by the BJP and two by its allies Apna Dal (S) and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SubhSP). But this time Suheldev Bharatiya Janata Party is contesting the elections in alliance with Samajwadi Party (SP), so this time the challenge for BJP may increase.
