According to the affidavit given to the Election Commission, the assets of 78 candidates in this phase are more than five crores. While 67 candidates have declared assets between 2 to 5 crores. 217 out of 607 i.e. 36% are millionaires. In this BJP has 40 out of 47, SP has 38 out of 45, BSP has 41 out of 52, Congress 22 out of 54 and Aam Aadmi Party has 15 crorepati candidates out of 47.

Shah Alam of AIMIM richest, owner of 195 crores
Shah Alam Guddu Jamali of AIMIM is the biggest Dhan Kuber in the election fray from Mubarakpur in Azamgarh in the seventh phase. Jamali has declared movable and immovable assets worth Rs 195 crore. BSP candidate from Pindra seat of Varanasi, Babu Lal has declared total movable and immovable assets worth 44 crores. BSP’s Nizamabad candidate Piyush Kumar Singh has also declared assets worth Rs 34 crore in third place.
