Be careful, if you leave this time, 5 years of hard work will be washed away and this time it will not take long for Uttar Pradesh to become Kashmir, Bengal and Kerala.
Uttar Pradesh most backward in poverty
Talking about the same poverty scale, the condition of the three states of West Bengal, Kashmir and Kerala is many times better than Uttar Pradesh. All three states are included in the leading states of the country. According to the data released by NITI Aayog, 0.7% of the total population in Kerala, 12.6% of the total population in Jammu and Kashmir and 21.4% of the total population in West Bengal are poor. On the other hand, if we talk about Uttar Pradesh, 37.8% of the total population in the state is poor. In this context, Uttar Pradesh is the second poorest state in the country after Bihar.
The situation in all the three states is better than the national average.
According to the report of NITI Aayog, 25% of the total population of the country lives below the poverty line. The situation in Kerala, Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir appears better than the national average of the country.
70 percent of the population of Shravasti and Bahraich are poor
Shravasti and Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh are among the poorest districts of the country. According to the report of NITI Aayog, 74.38 percent of the population of Shravasti district and 71.88 percent of the population of Bahraich district live below the poverty line.
