Lucknow. STF has started investigation into the allegations of paper leak in the constable recruitment examination of UP Police. CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered an investigation by STF. With the investigation of the paper leak case handed over to UPSTF, it is now impossible for the culprits to get a chance to escape. CM Yogi Adityanath has clearly said that those who spoil the hard work of the candidates will be dealt with strictly. It is clear from this that the Yogi government is in no mood to spare those people and institutions who leaked the UP Police constable recruitment exam paper.
This examination for constable recruitment was conducted on a large scale in UP. There were more than 60000 posts for this. Around 15 lakh candidates had applied to take the exam. Among these, a good number of women candidates were also there. The constable recruitment examination in UP Police was conducted for two days. When the examination was held in the second shift of the second day, the issue of paper leak came to light. The candidates had also demanded cancellation of the examination alleging paper leak. After which the Police Recruitment Board had said that a committee has been formed to investigate the matter. At the same time, the candidates were continuously protesting in Lucknow. After which CM Yogi Adityanath ordered to cancel the examination.
CM Yogi’s government was formed in UP in the year 2017. Even in 2022, Yogi government again regained power in UP. Many recruitment examinations have been conducted earlier also during the entire tenure of Yogi government, but for the first time the matter of recruitment examination paper being leaked has come to light. In such a situation, the UP government is preparing to conduct an investigation and send the culprits behind the bars at any cost and apart from this, discussions are also going on to take steps to ensure that incidents of paper leaks do not happen in future.
