A strange incident of theft has come to light in Banda district of Uttar Pradesh. After stealing goods worth thousands from a welding shop there, the thieves returned the goods after coming to know about the condition of the shopkeeper. He also wrote a letter apologizing. In the letter, the thieves have accused the welding shop of giving false information to clean their hands. The thieves wrote – We did not know that you are so poor. He packed the stolen goods in boxes and boxes and pasted it. Now this incident has become a topic of discussion in the whole area.
According to the information, Dinesh Tiwari, a resident of Chandrayal village of Bisanda police station area of Banda, started welding work sometime back by taking Rs 40,000 on interest. When he reached to open his shop on December 20, the lock was found broken. Equipment and other items kept in his shop inside were stolen. He immediately informed the incident to Bisanda police station but due to some reason his case could not be registered. On 22 December, some villagers told him that his belongings were kept at a secluded place some distance from the house. When Dinesh reached there, he saw that the thieves had thrown away his belongings.
Upon investigation, it was found that the goods were packed in a sack and a box. The thieves had pasted a letter on it. The letter read, “This is Dinesh Tiwari’s stuff. We got to know about you from an outsider but when we got to know we were very sad. That’s why we are returning your material. We made a mistake due to wrong location.” It appears from the letter that the thieves had come from outside and did not know the local people. While the helper of the thieves was a local. He may have deliberately given the thieves a bad address of the house.
