Cases of atrocities against women keep coming to the fore from different parts of the country. Once again such a case has come to the fore in Hardoi district of UP. In a village of Beniganj Kotwali area of Hardoi district of UP, a case of gang-rape with a teenager who went to the farm with her mother has come to light. The police have registered an FIR against the three on the orders of the court in the matter. After the order of the court in the case, the police have started the investigation by registering an FIR under the Gangrape Act including the Dalit Act.
According to media reports, the victim’s brother has lodged an FIR at the Beniganj police station alleging that her 13-year-old sister had gone out of the village to defecate along with her mother on November 21 last year. At the same time, Akhilesh, Amit and Kamlesh of the village met. The youth alleges that these people grabbed his mother and tied her with a rope and stuffed cloth in her mouth. After this the accused took the sister first to Kamlesh and then to the other two gardens. The girl somehow reached the mother and untied her with a rope. After which the mother removed the cloth from the girl’s mouth and told the whole incident to the mother.
According to the information received, after the incident, the woman reached home with her daughter and after informing the family members, went to Beniganj Kotwali to register an FIR. The woman accused the police that the inspector there started walking with her saying that the people concerned had been compromised. The victim’s mother said that a written complaint was also made to the higher police officials, but the police did not register the case.
The victim reached the court after the police did not register a complaint. In this case, the court has directed the police to register a case against the accused. Following the order of the court, the police have registered an FIR against the accused. Additional Superintendent of Police Durgesh Kumar Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused in the entire matter and the police is probing the matter.
