RCB Team Virat Kohli: The 25th match of IPL 2024 is being played between RCB and Mumbai Indians. In this match, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first. In this match, RCB team has given a target of 197 runs to Mumbai Indians to win. There was a huge uproar regarding no ball in the last over of this match.
There was chaos in Akash Madhwal’s over.
Akash Madhwal took the responsibility of bowling the last over for Mumbai Indians. The second ball of this over was bowled by Akash with a full toss, on which Dinesh Karthik tried to hit a big stroke, but the ball did not hit his bat properly and went to the wicketkeeper. After this Dinesh Karthik took DRS for height no ball. He wanted to say that the height of the ball was high. But the third umpire did not give the decision in favor of Karthik and Akash’s ball was considered a legal delivery.
Kohli had an altercation with the umpire
Then Virat Kohli comes from the dressing room towards the pavilion and has an argument with the umpire. He is seen saying something to the umpire. After this the umpire explains something to them with his hand gesture. In the end the umpire does not change his decision even after Kohli’s request. After this, fans have given their reactions on social media.
RCB scored so many runs
Batting first, RCB team gave Mumbai a target of 197 runs. Captain Faf du Plessis scored the highest 61 runs for RCB. Rajat Patidar contributed 50 runs and Dinesh Karthik contributed 53 runs. Karthik scored these runs in only 23 balls. He was not out till the end. It is because of these players that RCB team was able to reach a big score. Jasprit Bumrah took 5 wickets for Mumbai.
