PM Narendra Modi is reaching Jammu and Kashmir for the first time after the abrogation of 370. He will participate in the celebration of National Panchayati Raj Day in Jammu. Apart from this, Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many development projects worth more than 20000 crores there. In this visit, Modi will also give a direct message to Pakistan, which constantly raises the Kashmir issue, to desist from its antics. This visit of Modi is also being considered special from political point of view. Actually, the assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir are being reconstituted. After which elections will be held there after returning him the status of the state. These elections are expected to be held by the end of this year.
Among the projects that Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone is a 500 kW solar power plant at Palli in Samba district. The panchayat of the parish will also become the first panchayat in the country to become carbon neutral. Apart from this, Modi is also going to inaugurate the Banihal-Qazigund road tunnel built at a cost of 3100 crores. This tunnel will reduce the distance between the two places by 16 kilometres. People will also be able to move between Qazigund and Banihal in all weather and this tunnel will be important for the army as well.
Apart from this, Modi will also lay the foundation stone of Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway to be built at a cost of 7500 crores. Along with this, the foundation stone of Ratle and Kwar hydroelectric power houses will also be laid. Ratle hydel power house will be built in Kishtwar district and Kwar hydel power house will also be built in this district. This will meet the power requirement of Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from the development of 75 ponds on the elixir of freedom, PM will also dedicate 100 Jan Aushadhi Kendras to the nation. Apart from this, he will also hand over land ownership cards to the beneficiaries. Apart from Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, eminent people will also participate in all the programs.
