Jaipur. The first phase of Lok Sabha elections has been completed. Voting took place on 12 seats in Rajasthan in the first phase. However, the complete figures of voting percentage have not been revealed yet. But according to the data received till 5 pm, maximum voting took place in Sriganganagar district. After the start of voting here, 60.29 percent votes were cast within 10 hours till 5 pm. After that, Jaipur city has been at number two. 56.57 percent voting took place here.
If Election Commission officials are to be believed, looking at the voting trend, the voting percentage is likely to decrease this time. In the last elections, the percentage of voting on these seats in the state was 63.71. This time till 5 pm this percentage was around 50 in most of the seats. However, all the people standing in the queue till 6 pm will get a chance to vote. But still it seems difficult to reach the turnout of the last Lok Sabha elections.
On average, 50.27 percent voting took place till 5 pm.
This time there were less queues at the booths in the Lok Sabha elections as compared to the Assembly elections. The final voting figures will be released only late at night. However, on average 50.27 percent voting took place in the state till 5 pm. Among these, the highest turnout of 60.29 percent was recorded in Sriganganagar Lok Sabha seat. The speed of voting here was good right from the beginning. She continued at the end. Whereas the lowest turnout was 42.53 in Karauli-Dholpur seat.
Voting for the remaining 13 seats will be held on April 26.
Apart from these, 53.31 percent voting took place in Alwar seat, 45.48 percent in Bharatpur seat, 48.87 percent in Bikaner seat, 56.52 percent in Churu seat and 45.63 percent in Dausa seat. 56.57 percent voting took place in Jaipur city seat, 48.67 percent in Jaipur rural seat, 44.97 percent in Jhunjhunu seat, 49.92 percent in Nagaur seat and 48.85 percent in Sikar seat. In the second phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting will be held for the remaining 13 seats on 26 April. Election campaign is going on for the seats of the second phase.
