Your Court: In India TV’s popular show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad spoke openly on many topics. At the same time, he also faced questions from India TV Editor in Chief Rajat Sharma in AAP’s court. During this, Ravi Shankar Prasad discussed all the things going on regarding the relations of India Alliance and its break. At the same time, he clearly talked about the point that PM Narendra Modi was the first to target Nitish for breaking the India Alliance.
‘Does Modi ji need any support?’
When asked whether Narendra Modi had first targeted Nitish for breaking the India Alliance, Ravi Shankar Prasad said, ‘Does Modi ji need any support? Now see how the alliance has broken.. I want to tell clearly, when we make a relationship we maintain it. We nurture relationships. But they never know when a relationship is formed, when it deteriorates or when it breaks. Can they run the country?’
‘I admit that I have spoken against Nitish ji many times’
When Rajat Sharma asked a question regarding the comment made about Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar that the doors of BJP are closed for him forever, Ravi Shankar Prasad said: ‘Yes, I had said so. He had also said, as long as I am alive, I will never return… But, Nitish ji is an honest person. When he was the Chief Minister, five doors each were open at Lalu ji’s place. One door was for his daughter, the second door was for his elder son, the third door was for his younger son, the fourth door was for his wife and the fifth door was for him. He was unable to do anything. His health was poor. He was truly broken from within. We told him that you cannot run this government. ..I admit that I have spoken against Nitish ji many times. That’s on record. When people were against us, we said so. But tell us why he left India Alliance? Brought Mamta ji along. Went to meet Rahul Gandhi. Went to meet in Maharashtra. Mobilized everyone and after mobilizing… Nitish, you stay on the side. We will do the rest of the leadership. What do you mean?’
