Election campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections is in full swing in Kerala. Everyone’s eyes are on Wayanad seat of Kerala. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, BJP state president K Surendran and CPI leader D Raja’s wife Anne Raja are contesting from here. Congress is trying its best to win this seat. In the same sequence, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also reached Wayanad. While talking to the media, he took a dig at BJP’s slogan of ‘crossing 400’.
On BJP’s ‘400 Paar’ slogan, Revanth Reddy said, “The slogan is good but the slogan is not going to be successful. People gave BJP a chance twice but they only cheated the people. This time BJP is not going to get anything. Today the Prime Minister has remembered South India, he did not give any funds to the South for 10 years. Prime Minister should tell how much funds he gave to Kerala.
Revanth Reddy made this allegation on BJP
Revanth Reddy on Wednesday said BJP’s ambitious ‘Mission South’ plan will fail as people in this part of the country do not like the BJP. Because BJP has ignored the highest posts of the country including the President, Prime Minister, Vice President or Defense Minister of India and the financial allocation to the southern states.
Revanth Reddy gave this argument
Participating in a road show with Rahul Gandhi in Kerala’s Wayanad constituency, Revanth said: “Are South Indians not educated and not capable? South India is a part of our country but PM Modi neither accommodated us, nor gave us respect, nor released funds nor gave us top posts. We were not given our fair share. Then how can he expect Lok Sabha seats from South India? People have already got rid of BJP in Karnataka where BJP was in power.
