Pakistan’s tone has started changing after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of India for the third time. Now Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has made a big statement about India. He sent a “positive message” to India on Tuesday saying that his country does not believe in “constant hostility” and urged the newly elected government in New Delhi to seriously reflect on its future relations with Islamabad. He has said that now the time has come to improve relations between the two countries. We want good relations with a peaceful solution to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
‘We want good neighbourly relations with India’
Ishaq Dar was addressing a seminar at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad on Tuesday. During this time he made this statement. The leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) said that Pakistan always wants “good neighborly relations”. Dar said, “Relations with India in our eastern region have been historically turbulent. Pakistan does not believe in constant hostility. We want good neighborly relations with India based on mutual respect, sovereign equality and a just and peaceful solution to the long-standing Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
He also stressed that while Pakistan will take every step to ensure better relations with India, it will not shy away from giving a befitting reply to any Indian military adventurism.
Congratulations to Narendra Modi on becoming PM for the third time
Pakistan’s Deputy PM Ishaq Dar congratulated Narendra Modi on being elected as the Prime Minister of the country for the third consecutive time. He urged the Indian government to improve relations with Islamabad in future. Dar also claimed that Pakistan has made peaceful efforts to maintain good relations with all the neighbouring countries.
