At the same time, due to heavy rains in the western areas of Delhi, the weather has become slightly pleasant. The Meteorological Department has predicted snowfall in the higher reaches of Arunachal Pradesh in the north-east and rain in some other areas. Rain can also be seen in Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura. Thunderstorms and strong winds are also expected in these states till April 24. There are chances of rain in Western UP and heatwave in Eastern UP. The Meteorological Department says that people may have to face heat wave in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, some areas of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Ganga coastal areas of West Bengal. There is orange alert of heatwave in Odisha. The temperature may drop slightly in Odisha on Tuesday and Wednesday, but then the heatwave phase will begin.
The Meteorological Department estimates that the weather will be hot in Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Rayalaseema. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of severe heat in central parts of Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Marathwada and Madhya Pradesh. Similar weather is expected to prevail in these states and areas for the next few days.
