According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic areas of West Bengal, Meghalaya, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Telangana and Kerala. Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka may also receive rain.
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Chhattisgarh. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Durg, Raipur, Bastar and Bilaspur of Chhattisgarh. There are chances of the weather taking a turn after April 12 in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi and UP. Punjab and Haryana may see a spell of rain from April 13. The heat is increasing rapidly in North India including Delhi and surrounding areas. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of some rain in Delhi and surrounding areas on April 13 and 14. At the same time, there is heat wave in Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Goa, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. The Meteorological Department had already told that this time it is going to be more hot than other years.
