The Bose family has renovated the mosque named Amanati Masjid and for the past 50 years, Deepak Bose as a caretaker visits the mosque every day and cleans its corridors to ensure that the people of the Muslim community offer their prayers. Be comfortable during Amanati Masjid is located in the Nabopalli area which is dominated by Hindus.
In 1964 the Bose family exchanged property in Khulna (now Bangladesh) with land in North 24 Parganas. He saw that there was a small mosque on that land. While many suggested demolishing it and building a new building, the Bose family opposed it as it was a religious place.

Mosque’s caretaker Deepak Kumar Bose told ANI that we decided to renovate it and since then we are taking care of this mosque. People of Muslim community from different areas come here and offer prayers. We have appointed an imam for daily azan.
Deepak’s son Partha Sarathi Bose said that till now no one has objected to us Hindus taking care of the mosque. We have been taking care of the mosque for years. Actually, there is no mosque within a radius of two km, so Muslims from different areas come here to worship.
Imam Sharafat Ali said that I did not feel any threat from the local people. Since 1992, I have been continuously asking people to come for Azaan. We believe in unity and peace.
