Kolkata. Pirzada Abbas Siddiqui of West Bengal’s famous Furfura Sharif has questioned the mannerisms of the state’s CM Mamta Banerjee. According to the news channel ‘ABP News’, Pirzada said that if there is a government in the state, Mamta Banerjee can accuse me, but the reality is that Mamta has used Muslims as a vote bank. Abbas Siddiqui said that what Nupur Sharma said is wrong, but not taking action against her is even more wrong. Raising further questions on Mamta, Pirzada of Furfura Sharif said that Mamta Banerjee said that if you want to agitate, then go to Delhi. It is clear that she is making provocative statements. Abbas said that Mamata took votes from Muslims, but did not fulfill any promise.
After Nupur Sharma’s statement, Pirzada also surrounded Mamta Banerjee on the violence in Howrah and Murshidabad in West Bengal. He asked what was Mamata Banerjee’s police doing when the agitation was taking place? Abbas said that the police is now arresting innocent Muslims, but who were the people who were protesting on the street? Abbas further said that wearing a cap and growing a beard does not make one a Muslim. We do not know who enters the protest with stones. Everything is a conspiracy to defame Muslims.
Pirzada also raised questions on those who committed violence on the issue of the Prophet. He said that this is political and not religion. This kind of violence is not written in religion. This is not the way to protect religion and Islam does not ask to do so. Abbas said that any protest against the country cannot be valid. He further said in Nupur case that Narendra Modi is the PM of the country. They need to take strict action in this matter.
