When did it start?
The Ministry of Labor and Employment had launched the E-Shramik Card Scheme in 2022 for the unorganized poor laborers of the country. Its main objective was to create a data base of the country’s poor labourers, small laborers and daily wage laborers and extend the benefits of government schemes to all of them.

How can you apply online?
1- To get an e-shram card, first of all you have to visit the official site. @eshram.gov.in will go on.
2- After this, REGISTER on eShram option has to be selected in the given menu.
3- Now you have to enter the mobile number linked to your Aadhar card and the given captcha. After this you have to click on Send OTP.
4- After this, OTP will come on your phone, after filling which the registration form for e-Shram will open.
5- Fill all the information given in that form carefully.
6- After filling all the information, click on the submit button, your registration will be completed.
