The eyes of the entire state are on the next step of Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (PrSP) founder Shivpal Yadav. Shivpal, who is angry with Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav, has been speculated to ally with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). After meeting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday evening, Shivpal is believed to be changing his side. It is being told that in the past, Shivpal has also met the top leadership of BJP in Delhi.
Praspa chief and Jaswantnagar MLA Shivpal Singh Yadav surprised everyone by reaching Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence Panch Kalidas Marg on Wednesday night amid resentment with nephew Akhilesh Yadav. The conversation between the two took about 20 minutes. Soon after Shivpal left, BJP state president and cabinet minister Swatantra Dev Singh reached there. After this rapid change, the political stir in the state has intensified.

Will set the son to shock the nephew?
It is not yet clear whether he will join the BJP or make his party a part of the NDA. Sources say that more likely to join BJP. BJP is proposing to make him a Rajya Sabha member. Shivpal’s son Aditya Yadav will be contested on the vacant seat of Jaswantnagar. Shivpal Singh Yadav wanted a ticket for his son in the assembly elections, but Akhilesh refused. He is also worried about his son’s future. This worry of theirs can be overcome under the BJP’s formula.
Lok Sabha by-election will be fought from Azamgarh?
After the vacating of Azamgarh seat by Akhilesh Yadav, a by-election is to be held on it within six months. There is also a discussion that BJP can field Shivpal Yadav from this seat. This seat is considered safe for SP. But with Shivpal, who has a good hold among the SP workers, is expected to be fielded from this seat, the BJP expects the results to be in favour. The BJP would like to register a victory in the Lok Sabha by-elections in any case, so that it can send another positive message before 2024.
what is the reason for the displeasure
Shivpal Singh Yadav’s sudden meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in itself is indicating a big change in the politics of the state. The question is, what will be the next step of Shivpal Yadav? Will he not go to the shelter of BJP on the lines of daughter-in-law Aparna? By the way, before the last Lok Sabha elections, the entire board was laid for his joining the BJP, but later Shivpal himself withdrew at the last moment. The reason is clear, Shivpal’s political house became alien after his elder brother Mulayam Singh Yadav lost the reins of SP. Due to political compulsions, he came with Akhilesh in the assembly elections, but the promise of not getting the earlier respect was visible in his heart on every occasion. As Mulayam’s SP chief, Shivpal always remained in the number two position in the SP. He was respected. But after the SP’s command came in the hands of Akhilesh, due to lack of respect, these distances increased.
