Congress has announced its candidates for three seats in Jharkhand and the names of the candidates for the remaining four will be announced by April 1. A party official gave this information. After getting approval from the Central Election Committee of the Congress, the party on Wednesday announced the names of its candidates from Lohardaga, Khunti and Hazaribagh parliamentary constituencies. The party has fielded Kalicharan Munda, Sukhdev Bhagat and Jai Prakashbhai Patel as its candidates from Khunti (ST), Lohardaga (ST) and Hazaribagh seats respectively.
Announcement of candidates by April 1st
The party leader said, “Congress will announce the candidates for the remaining four seats by April 1, while a consensus on seat-sharing can be reached by tomorrow.” Voting for 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand will begin from May 13. It will happen in four phases. Congress will contest on seven of these seats and allies will try their luck on the remaining seats.

Let us tell you that elections will be held in seven phases for 543 Lok Sabha seats. The first phase of voting will be held on 19 April, the second phase of voting on 26 April, the third phase of voting on 7 May, the fourth phase of voting on 13 May, the fifth phase of voting on 20 May, the sixth phase of voting on 25 May and the seventh and The final phase of voting will take place on June 1. Counting of votes will take place simultaneously in the entire country on June 4.
