New Delhi. Pakistani sports anchor Zainab Abbas, who is often in controversy for her anti-Hindu rhetoric, has reportedly been deported from India to Pakistan amid allegations of a controversial case. According to a local media outlet, the incident came to light after Indian lawyer Vineet Jindal formally filed a complaint, citing Zainab’s old tweets on the social media platform ‘X’, along with her anti-India sentiments. These posts were allegedly considered “anti-Hindu”.
Jindal argues that these alleged anti-Hindu tweets were originally posted about nine years ago under the username “ZainabLovesrk”, which has since been changed to Zainab’s current active handle. It is noteworthy that before her alleged deportation, Zainab had come to India to work as an anchor for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Zainab’s previous handle was ZainabLovesrk, where she tweeted anti-Hindu comments about vegetarianism and Indian fast bowlers in 2014. Some screenshots of these tweets are being shared, in which people are questioning whether this is the same Zainab who used to make such comments.

Zainab Abbas initially made her career as a makeup artist before becoming a sports anchor. Until 2015, she operated her own studio as a makeup artist. However, in 2015, he co-hosted a TV show with cricket legends Saeed Ajmal and Imran Nazir during the Cricket World Cup for the World News Channel. Since then, she has been thriving in the sports anchoring field. Her mother, Andaleeb Abbas, is a prominent figure in Pakistani politics, serving as a member of the Pakistani Central Assembly until January 2023. She is a close aide of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and remains a senator on PTI ticket. Andaleeb Abbas herself was the presenter of the Cricket World Cup in 1999. On the other hand, Zainab’s father Nasir Abbas played first-class cricket.
