Thousands of Indian students are stranded in Ukraine and neighboring countries amid the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia. A recent survey by LocalCircles has revealed that 62 per cent of Indians are satisfied with the Indian government’s handling of the Russia-Ukraine problem. When the same question was asked to people on February 26, 73 percent of the people said that they support India’s way of handling the crisis. The survey also tried to know what people think about the sanctions being imposed on Russia. In this survey, 29 thousand responses were received from 351 districts of the country. Of this, 62 percent were men while 38 percent were women.
