Property increased by 22,057 percent
Of the 284 MLAs whose assets have increased, there has been an increase of minus 22,057 per cent. The MLA and MLC who is in the fray for re-election in 2017 had an average net worth of Rs 5.68 crore. Which has now increased to Rs 8.87 crore. That is, in the last five years, the average assets of these MLAs have increased by Rs 3.18 crore.
The highest increase in the assets of Rae Bareli MLA
Aditi Singh, who won from Rae Bareli seat on Congress ticket, is the BJP candidate this time. His wealth has increased by 22,057 per cent in the last five years. His net worth in 2017 was Rs 13.98 lakh. Which has now increased to Rs 30.98 crore. At the same time, in terms of the total amount, the assets of Shah Alam alias Guddu Jamali, who is contesting from Mubarakpur on AIMIM ticket, have increased the most. His assets have increased by Rs 77 crore in the last five years. His net worth in 2017 was Rs 118.76 crore. This has increased to Rs 195.85 crore in 2022.
The property of BJP MLA from Dibiyapur decreased the most
The BJP MLA and candidate from Dibiyapur is Lakhan Singh Rajput. His net worth in 2017 was Rs 1.42 crore. Rajput’s assets have come down to Rs 91.76 lakh in 2022. His net worth has decreased by 36%. This is the lowest among the sitting MLAs.
