Bengaluru. Australian batsman Travis Head has performed brilliantly in 2023 but he knows that maintaining this level is challenging and the first stop on this journey will be the T20 World Cup. Head had scored centuries in the World Test Championship final and the 50-over World Cup. Now he wants to strengthen his preparations for the T20 World Cup to be held in America and West Indies in June through the Indian Premier League.
Travis Head said in an interview, ‘I have come a long way as a player. I have my own style and play the same way abroad too. Now there is pressure to play well continuously. In all formats I make sure to stick to the basics. This is my technique and blueprint. The World Cup is now around the corner and hopefully being in the Sunrisers team and playing at the top will strengthen my preparation. I will be able to take this rhythm to the World Cup.
