America-born Charles Chuck’s father was a soldier and he wanted his son to enlist in the army as well. In such a situation, he started training Charles Chuck from childhood. By the year 1967, when schooling was over, Charles turned to Marine Training.
During his Marine training, Charles decided that he would become a sniper. Charles completed training in a few days and was sent to the Vietnam War. His command was Marine-1 and was attached to the army as a rifle man. Here he got the M-40 scope rifle as a weapon, which he already knew. Charles was posted in the jungles of Vietnam and the order was that the enemy was to be destroyed as soon as he saw the front.
Charles is said to have hit targets from a distance of 1000 yards. During this deployment, on the night of 14 February, his detachment came to know that the enemy was planning to attack in his area. The record was recorded in the name of Charles Chuck in Marine Command. No soldier had taken so many headshots in such a short span of time. Charles had fired 16 shots in 30 seconds and she hit 16 directly on the enemy’s head. Charles Chak stayed in Vietnam for about a year and carried out the operation in all the places. Every mission used to be proud of its troop.
Charles Chuck held the record of killing 103 enemies that year, out of which 16 enemies in 30 seconds were widely discussed. A year later, Charles was ordered by the army to return home. When he returned home, he did not leave the army but started training other soldiers.
