The bridge stands at a height of 359 meters above the river level and will be taller than the Eiffel Tower. The purpose of this bridge is to boost connectivity to the Kashmir Valley.
Let us tell you that the Chenab bridge has got the status of the highest railway bridge in the world due to its being 359 meters above the river level. At the same time, it is 35 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower in France. According to the Ministry of Railways, ‘Tekala’ software has been used for the structural details of the bridge. At the same time, it is being told that the structural steel of this bridge can tolerate up to -10 degree Celsius.
