As part of this exercise, on Thursday, BJP National President JP Nadda met the National President of Allies Apna Dal (S) Anupriya Patel and Ashish Patel and Nishad Party National President Sanjay Nishad separately and discussed their stake in the government. During these two meetings, the election in-charge of Uttar Pradesh and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and UP BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh were also present.
Anupriya Patel, Ashish Patel and Sanjay Nishad congratulated JP Nadda on the historic victory of the NDA alliance. According to sources, the formation of the Uttar Pradesh government and the share of allies were also discussed in the meeting.
In fact, allies have played a very important role in the formation of the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh again. BJP’s ally Apna Dal (S) has become the third largest party in the assembly with 12 MLAs, while BJP’s second ally Nishad Party has 6 MLAs winning the election. Many leaders of Nishad Party have also won the election on BJP’s election symbol. In such a situation, both the allies are staking claim for their strong stake in the Yogi government.
The National President of Nishad Party, Sanjay Nishad has already expressed his claim for the post of Deputy Chief Minister. At the same time, Anupriya Patel also wants that this time her stake in the Yogi government should be increased as compared to earlier.
