Lucknow. The portfolios of the new ministers were fixed on Monday, the third day of the swearing-in in the Yogi Adityanath government 2.0 of Uttar Pradesh. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has been given the responsibility of Rural Development Department, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Health and Cabinet Minister Swatantra Dev Singh has been given the responsibility of Jal Shakti Department. Cabinet Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma, who is said to be special to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been given the responsibility of the Urban Development Department.
According to the information received from the government, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has got the responsibility of 34 departments including Home, Housing and Urban Planning, State Property Department. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has been given the responsibility of six departments including Rural Engineering, Entertainment Tax along with Rural Development Department. Similarly, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak has been given three departments including Medical Education and Medical Health.

The historic swearing-in ceremony of Yogi Sarkar-2.0 took place at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in the capital. 19 Cabinet Ministers, including Chief Minister, two Deputy Chief Ministers, 14 Ministers of State (Independent Charge) and 20 Ministers of State have been included in this cabinet.
