A health scheme run by the central government is called Ayushman Bharat Yojana. However, now many state governments have also joined this scheme, due to which the scheme has been changed to ‘Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-Chief Minister Yojana’. Under this scheme, Ayushman card of eligible people is made and after that you can get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in listed hospitals. Actually, when you apply for Ayushman card, you need some documents. For this, the applicant’s Aadhaar card, ration card, residence certificate and an active mobile number are required.

Step 1

If you are eligible for the plan and you have the documents mentioned above then you can apply. In such a situation, first you have to go to your nearest public service center.

Step 2

You will first have to go to the public service center and meet the concerned officer. These officers work for the application, after which you will be asked for your documents.

Then you have to give the document to the officer, remember that both the original and copy are given. After this, your eligibility will be checked, now when everything looks right, your application has been done. You have to take it and then you can meet the concerned officer and complete the further process.
