Taking a guide on a tour of Corbett National Park has become expensive now. Till now tourists used to pay seven hundred rupees to a guide on each safari, the park administration has increased it to eight hundred rupees. Earlier, the park administration has also increased the fare of gypsies.
Online permits are booked for day-visits in the park. 950 has to be deposited for this. The fare of Gypsy was Rs 2200 a few days ago, in view of the rising prices of petrol and diesel, it was increased to Rs 2800.
On Wednesday, Corbett Park director Rahul told that the fee of guides has been increased to eight hundred rupees. It is necessary to carry a guide during the safari. He told that it is the guides who give information about the wildlife and Corbett Park to the tourists.
He also appealed to the tourists to follow the rules of the park. It also said that if any person tries to cheat the tourists, then they can directly contact the Corbett Park administration.
