green colour-
To make green colored gulal, first dry and grind neem leaves and then make a powder or paste of it. The use of neem is considered very beneficial for the skin. Neem has antibacterial and antiallergic properties which will help in getting rid of problems like pimples, acne as well. Apart from neem, spinach can also be dried to make green color.
Orange color-
You can use Palash flowers to make orange color. For this, a day before Holi, put a lot of Palash flowers in the water at night. Remove the flowers from the water in the morning. Your orange color for Hali is ready.
pink and red
You can use beetroot for pink or red color. If you want a deep pink gulal, then dry the beet and grind it to make a powder. Apart from this, by grinding beetroot for red color and boiling it in water, you will get red color.
yellow color-
If you want yellow color to play Holi, then use turmeric. But keep in mind that excessive use of turmeric can cause irritation on your skin. To make the color of Holi, mix equal quantity of rice or barley flour as turmeric. This will give you gulal. At the same time, add water and mix it, then you will get a thick yellow colored paste.
