Ingredients for Veg Shami Kabab (Ingredients For Veg Shami Kabab)
- Black gram – cup, soaked
- Paneer – half cup
- Potato – 1 boiled and peeled
- Ghee – 2-3 tbsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Cumin – half tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Garam masala – tsp
- Amchur powder – tsp
- Red chili powder – tsp
- salt – as per taste
- Green coriander – chopped as required
- Green chili – finely 2 chopped
- Ginger – half inch piece

- Put 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, coriander powder, chopped ginger and chopped green chillies and fry them lightly.
- Now add soaked chickpeas to it and add some garam masala, amchur powder, red chilli and 1/2 tsp salt and mix it well.
- Now add 1/4 cup water to these chickpeas and cover and cook on medium flame for 2-4 minutes. Cook till the chickpeas become soft.
- Now turn off the gas and leave the gram to cool slightly.
- Now grate the potato and paneer and grind the gram in a mixer.
- Now take it out in a vessel and add grated paneer and potatoes and mix it.
- Now add 1/2 tsp salt and some green coriander to it and keep the kebabs in a tikki-like shape.
- Now put 2-3 tbsp ghee in a pan and when it becomes hot, keep adding the prepared kebabs one by one. Now roast it on medium flame till it turns golden.
- Now you can serve these ready gram ke kebabs with chutney or sauce.
