In the preparation of jeera rice, there is often such a glitch, due to which the jeera rice is not able to bloom. In such a situation, no matter how good the rice is, if it is not made well, then it is not much fun to eat vegetables or pulses. In such a situation, you should take care of some basic things, so that the rice can become blooming. Today we are telling you the recipe of making Masala Jeera Rice.
Ingredients for making Masala Jeera Rice:
2 cups rice
2 black pepper
2 cardamom
1 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp mustard, 1 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp garam masala
1 tsp turmeric powder salt to taste
oil as required
water as needed
Method to make Masala Jeera Rice:
Firstly, put oil in a pressure cooker on medium heat and keep it for heating. Add black pepper and cardamom and fry it lightly. Now add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and temper it. After this add rice and fry for 2 minutes. Then add garam masala, red chili powder and salt.
Now add water and cook till it comes to a boil. Then add turmeric powder (optional), mix it well, cover the cooker and cook for 2-4 whistles. When the pressure of the cooker is over, open the lid and take out the rice on a plate. Haldi Jeera Rice is ready. Serve hot with curd.
Cooking Tips-
Add a good amount of ghee to the cumin rice.
Add less water to cumin rice.
Minimum spices should be used in this.
